Hybrids

This post is to list known information about hybrids. Where you got the mission and the stats on the hybrid. When you finish a hybrid arc, you get a free clone credit and they are much easier than ToOs.

For my level 40 character, got the Thrax hybrid story arc by the Crucible Wormhole. Involved talking to a bunch of people, scavenge for parts, kill a bunch of boss thrax to collect body parts, and kill a thrax hybrid below Khulago base.

The basic stats for a 40 Thrax Hybrid are
127 Body
49 Mind
88 Spirit

10893 health
187 power
153% regen

-10 Fire Resistance
+10 Sonic Resistance

No special abilities. Thrax Hybrids are ugly with a capital Ugg. Advise wearing a helmet at all times if you choose this race. Facial features are scars and other grotesque facial features.

Basic stats for a level 40 human is 88 with 0 resistance, so Thrax hybrids are good for characters that need high body, but low mind.

So the difference between a human and a Thrax hybrid is, in other words:

- Different appearance (duh)
- Same amount of basic attribute points, but distributed differently (127/49/88 vs 88/88/88)
- +10 sonic resistance but -10 fire resistance.

Correct?

Seems pretty interesting. No under/overpoweredness, just a slighlty different character with pros and cons, compared to humans.

Does anyone have details on the other hybirds and where you can pick up the quests for them? Are these quests only available to lvl 40+ characters?

I've done every quest I could find in Marshes and didn't see anything Hybrid related. Possible I missed something, of course.

There was a lot to do there, either way, it's going to be a decent exp boost in the mid- to upper-30s.

The Brann Hybrid starting contact is at the Brann LZ in Mires. Almost got the hybrid except there is one mission objective that requires you to die by a caretaker. With a level 40 character, it is impossible to do. I was working on it with a level 30, but the server crashed. The Forean hybrid starting contact should be somewhere on Foreas. I checked Marshes, but couldn't find him there.

I didn't see anything in Descent or Howling Maw.

(Speaking of descent, Sanctus Grotto is online. I went inside, but didn't start it).

My guess is that Foreas is the lowest level one in the progression, so maybe it's in Divide or Palisades. I think I'll look at Cumbria Research.

I would say foreas. Spoke to Critters earlier on, and apparently Level 15 is the earliest that you can have one of the Hybrids (forean one i assume in this case)
