This would mean that a sniper would be able to one shot me through my Shield Extender (assuming they crit and there is a good chance of that) and probably get me in 3 or 4 shots through my multibot instead the 5-7.

That is true, anyone playing on the test server know how powerful this dot is, is it kind of the same damage.
Also I completely forgot about the physical bleed now....yet another reason for my engie to avoid snipers
