The Elder Scrolls online
« on: February 02, 2014, 04:19:21 PM »
So the mmo version of "The elder Scrolls" franchise is around the corner. They introduced a one mega server where all people around the globe can meet up, provided they playing on the same platform (PC, PS3 (or was it 4th?) or Xbox).
Anybody is going to play it? I decided to give it a try, seems like it is a nice blend of pve\pvp with more inclination to wards pvp.

Here is an official site. - http://elderscrollsonline.com/en-uk
They are already accepting preorders.

After spending my time with friends in beta, I went on and pre-ordered an Imperial Edition of TESO.

Glad to hear that you have enjoyed it enough to order it
1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own
2) Not to be used when upset... will void warranty
3) Stoke me a clipper i will be back for dinner
4) Never tell Gangrel to do anything... he will probably get it wrong
5) I have seen more intelligence from an NPC AI in TR beta, than from most MMO players.

OK, since World Of Darkness has found the Final Death, can anyone report on the quality and quantity of vamp-action on ESO?

The overall skill buttons response is not satisfying, so until they move they servers to Europe, as they promised, i am not playing it, neither the rest of a crew.
As for a vampire, I personally never played it, but I can say that you can become one either when you hit end levels and will be able to find an npc vampire who bites you and give a special disease , which progresses into vampirism. Or you can be any level and just let your friendly player vampire bite you. you still need to do a high lvl quest though, so you would need a help.

After you have become a vampire you can move faster have better stats at night and sucky stats during a day, and you are now very weak to a silver bolts (in pvp mostly, those will now not only does a bigger damage to you, than to anybody else, they also knock down you, so, basically this skill is an "i win" button against you).
You get awesome powers, like turning into mist, you can summon bats, you can drink blood from others etc...
if you don't drink blood, you get hungry for blood, become more powerfull as you starve but also you now stick out of  a crowd with your burning eyes and you better drink a blood or hide from the guards and enemie players, who will make sure to swap they skills to anti vampire ones.

Well something wonly goes on with Zenimax Euro office. The hired people and then they fired them prematurely. Speculations going on about that we shall have to wait longer for a EU server.

YEah, it doesn't sound too good. Granted, I can understand taking people on with short term contracts, but letting even THOSE people go early? Not really a good sign in my books...
