Looks like the injector gun section could use an update. They're 50m range now (and can't fire at all beyond that).

and lower crit too. 1,5x? something like that. to lazy to search in the patchnotes.

Yeah, All weapons do 1.5x on crit now, but I didn't see any mention of crit in there to change. ;)

Here's a fairly accurate (hurray for MS!) table of all the different weapons in the game, their range, the class(es) able to use them and the damage types available (that should enable ppl to determine whether a certain mod recipe is valuable or useless XD).

Edit: Fat fingers slipped on Blade, corrected ;)

Edit2: Added lvls where the first weapon with that specific damage type is available. Note: weapons get significantly better every 5 levels after their base level, however the basic variant of class weapons always appears at the level the class is defined. For example, the base level of Netguns is 16, Injectors is 17, Polarity Guns is 18 and Rocket Launchers is 19, but each of those weapons have one weapon with the 'basic weapon damage type' available at 15.

I thought that all the blades (apart from Physical) were at level 31 and not 30. I have yet ot have a level 30 non physical drop. BUT saying that, you might have had a different experiance.

I stand corrected. (although if you search for level 35 Blades, you will find none ;) ) as the normal progression for Blades is 31, 36

That's why I added the column Base to indicate the first level where the normal progression starts ;)

Maybe you noticed new types of damage are introduced at intervals of 5 (5, 10, 15 aso); EMP and and Laser are slapped on from lvl 5 onwards so I would have expected a Sonic Pistol at lvl 10 and an Electric Pistol at lvl 15, but I have yet to find one in MS so I thought to better stay on the safe side ;D Virulent is introduced at lvl 10 (for the Leech Gun at lvl 14) and finally Fire & Ice come into play at lvl 20.

Why does this matter? Well, if you wanted to mod low lvl weapons to counteract the Fire resistance of Lightbenders, Hunters and Technicians and grind up your Ranger a little faster on Control Points, I'd say it's nice to know all Reduce Resist: Fire recipes for weapons lvl 20 and below are pretty useless to you. If you were to level a Commando though, that recipe would still be useful for his lvl 20 Incendiary RPG Launcher ^^

I did a cross-server MS check and these were the lowest I found:

* EMP and Laser - level 5 (pistol)
* Sonic - level 11 (rifle)
* Virulent - level 14 (leech gun)
* Electric - level 16 (rifle)
* Fire and Ice - level 20 (RPG)

Note that Polarity Gun and Net Gun get electric at level 15, but they don't really have a choice, electric being their default damage type.

Most significant of the ones I did not find:

* Level 2 EMP or laser shotgun
* Level 10 sonic pistol
* Level 9 virulent leech gun
* Level 15 electric pistol
* Level 19 fire or ice leech gun
